Davis is a licensed psychologist born and raised on the island of Oahu, dedicated to creating an affirming, trauma-informed space where clients feel seen and valued. His doctoral research focused on culturally-congruent care, exploring mental health stigma, racism, spirituality, and well-being among Indigenous populations. Davis brings a deep understanding of multicultural factors to his work with clients of diverse identities and backgrounds, affirming treatment for diverse gender identities and sexual orientations, and therapy for specific mental health conditions including PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, and OCD.
Using an integrative approach that includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy, and compassion-focused treatment, Davis helps clients build self-insight, manage challenging emotions, and embrace personal growth. His areas of expertise extend to ADHD, mood disorders, grief, life transitions, racial identity, and spiritual concerns. Davis’s practice is rooted in the belief that every individual’s unique story matters, and he strives to support clients in healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change.
